It registered last year to be anindependent electricity supplier to sell excess in-housegenerated power, spokesman Koji Yoshino said, and plans to buildpower generation facilities in its factories around Japan,including a 110 MW coal-fired plant in Miyagi prefecture, northof Tokyo. The company has used biomass and solar power in threeother locations, Yoshino said.
