It was in 2004, for an audition, and I was hugely late because I’d missed my flight to London from Paris. The people at the gate said they’d take me to the theatre the quick way, which involved crossing a wet and muddy lawn in my Alexander McQueen culottes and some very high shoes! I remember looking around at all the sheep and thinking, “Where am I?”
